Hatsumi Yoshiaki, was born day 2 of December of 1931 in the city of Noda, to the north of Japan. Later the name of Yoshaiki by Masaaki changed.
It was introduced to the Kendo by his father when it had 7 years of age and also it studied Judo and Karate.
In the school it continued with the practice of the gymnasium, the boxing and the Judo, belonging to the club of Judo and Drama. Same Asi studied dramatic arts.

During its studies in the Medical School, it received 4o Dan de Judo. When it was 20 years old began to teach to Judo to the American soldiers in Base of the Navy of Yokota. En that moment realized that the American soldiers by their size and natural ability learned in months, which the Japanese took in years. Then the training began to question itself.

At that moment, Hatsumi Sensei began to look for a tradition true single-breasted uniform jacket. ` per month paid to a professor of Kobudo 300,000 yens so that it came to dojo of its house and Kobujutsu Juhappan taught to him (18 categories of Kobujutsu). It completed its training in three years.
When Masaaki Hatsumi had the age of 26 years it found to which he would be its teacher Takamatsu Toshitsugu in the city of Kashiwabara, to the west of the region of Iga in Japan. Fin of week traveled throughout the island of Honshu each during 15 years to study with its teacher. The train took noon in arriving from its house in Noda to the house of Takamatsu Sensei in Kashiwabara.
Despues of 15 years studying, Takamatsu Sensei died in 1972, to the 85 years in its house in Nara. Years before Takamatsu Sensei it had decided that Htasumi Sensei would be next heredero(Soke) of the following schools:
